I’ve been in the Highlands area for over seven years as a full-time resident, but I’ve been coming to this area for years–trying to escape the heat and amazed by the beauty of this area. I love the lush green world of the summers and the stark drama of the winters.
After growing up in middle Georgia (yeah, it’s hot there), I went to school at Davidson and then landed for a number of great years in Atlanta, teaching English and coaching cross country at Marist School. After taking a sabbatical and then never going back, I traveled for a while, spending a year in Switzerland and then in Colorado before coming back to Georgia. After four years in Athens where I worked in various capacities at UGA, I finally had the opportunity to move to Highlands.
I’ve been with Harry Norman, Realtors, since 2006. My goal is NOT to be a salesman. I’m not a high-pressure guy (that’s one reason I love the lifestyle of Highlands), but I do like helping people. My goal is to introduce people to the area, to the opportunities which exist up here…to help people find the properties which are just right for them: a family escape, a new full-time home, or an investment property which may one day finance other dreams.
